Regional Science Fair

Cassidy went to the Regional Science Fair in the beginning of April. He did very well. There were 204 entrants in the fair.

There were about 20 gold medals handed out, and Cassidy was one of the ones that earned one.


His written comments on his display were very impressive and they didn't have any recommendations as to how he could improve his display. The only thing they suggested to him was to bring it back next year but head off into the environmental angle as he had only lightly mentioned this on his display.

Two of the four entrants that made it to Nationals were from our tiny town!!

Since I had to take Cassidy to the fair I thought I would take advantage of the time and take another couple boys with me for some one on one time. We had a lot of fun. We went out for dinner and then the boys all went swimming.




The next day, while Cassidy was tied up all day, the boys spent hours in the waterslide, and I did some blogging. That night we went to the movies and enjoyed watching Race to Witch Mountain. It was a really enjoyable get-away with just my bigger (ish) boys!
