My boy, Cassidy, loves chess. He is amazing at it. Lately, he has won Gold at two different tournaments. We hope to see if his teacher can find some other competitions that he can get involved in. When you live in a small town you don't have the options that bigger towns have, so for all we know we might be able to get him trying out for some chess tournaments. I would love to see how he does.

There used to be a homeschool chess club here that was into the tournaments and such. Nobody here has ever been into it. I used to play in high school and have taught my kids the basics. Chess is for smart kids. :)
